Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wayland). They simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat the Waltham Hawks 48-21. The victory continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Hawks: they've now won three in a row.

Wayland's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Waltham, they dropped their record down to 1-5 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, Wayland and Waltham will both be playing Lincoln-Sudbury the next time they take the field. The Hawks will head out to face the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Warriors will host them at 6:00 p.m. on the 30th.
