Schulenburg came tearing into Friday's matchup with four straight wins and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Sealy Tigers with a sharp 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Shorthorns, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Schulenburg was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-20, 25-17.

Reagan Dusek paced Schulenburg's offense, picking up 12 kills. Dusek got some help from Landry Zapalac and her 30 assists. Zapalac was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.
