Football Recap: Saks Starts off Right with Win over Horseshoe Bend

Saks gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They managed a 48-42 win over the Horseshoe Bend Generals. This was payback for the Wildcats, who suffered a 22-8 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Coming up, Saks is headed away from home for the first time to take on Piedmont at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Wildcats' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Horseshoe Bend, they will challenge Wadley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
