For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Grafton and North Marion meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Thursday. The Bearcats walked away with a 2-0 win over the Huskies. For the Bearcats, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 victory the Huskies walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

Grafton not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept North Marion between 16 and 18 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-18.

Grafton's win bumped their record up to 14-7. As for North Marion, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-16.

Grafton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Lewis County on the 9th. As for North Marion, they will challenge The Linsly School at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
