The Warren County Screaming Devils will head out on the road to face off against the Lake Oconee Academy Titans at 7:30 p.m. Warren County has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 366 points over their last six contests.
Warren County posted their biggest win since December 8, 2023 on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Aquinas as Warren County made off with a 63-43 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Warren County has posted against Aquinas since January 28, 2020.
Warren County's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Torossie Leslie, who scored 16 points along with eight rebounds and six assists, and Ra'Quavian Jones, who scored 21 points along with five rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Jones has scored all season. Darius Hill was another key contributor, scoring six points along with four steals.
Meanwhile, Lake Oconee Academy came up short against Washington-Wilkes on Tuesday and fell 52-40.
Warren County's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-5. As for Lake Oconee Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.
Everything went Warren County's way against Lake Oconee Academy in their previous meeting two weeks ago as Warren County made off with a 66-45 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Warren County since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
