Softball Game Preview: Hamilton Township Rangers vs. Circleville Tigers

Hamilton Township hasn't had much luck against Circleville recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Rangers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Tigers at 5:15 p.m. Hamilton Township has given up an average of 11.8 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Hamilton Township is headed into Monday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their seventh straight game on Friday. They came up short against Liberty Union, falling 20-0.

Meanwhile, Circleville waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 6-5 W against the Braves. That's two games straight that the Tigers have won by just one run.

Kayla Fleck was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching seven innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off eight hits. Fleck was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. That triple was her first of the season.

In other batting news, Kaylee West was excellent, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

Hamilton Township's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Circleville, their victory bumped their record up to 6-11.
