Volleyball Game Preview: Immanuel Eagles vs. Hoover Patriots

Immanuel is on a seven-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), while Hoover is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Eagles will be taking part in a tournament against the Patriots at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Immanuel is headed into the match having just posted their closest victory since March 7th on Friday. They won by a set and slipped past Torres 2-1.

The match came down to the wire multiple times:two sets needed extra rallies to declare a winner. The final score came out to 25-27, 27-25, 16-14.

Meanwhile, Hoover was able to grind out a solid win over Roosevelt on Friday, taking the game 2-0.

Hoover's victory bumped their record up to 19-9. As for Immanuel, their win bumped their record up to 14-6.

Immanuel was able to grind out a solid victory over Hoover in their previous matchup on March 4th, winning 3-1. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Patriots turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
