Volleyball Recap: Foothill Wins Going Away Against Pioneer

While Foothill didn't have the best season last year (they finished 3-9), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. Everything went their way against the Pioneer Patriots on Friday as Foothill made off with a 3-0 victory.

Foothill never let Pioneer on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-14, 25-23.

Foothill has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. Pioneer is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.

Coming up, Foothill will square off against Burbank at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Pioneer, they will host Vanden at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
