Baseball Game Preview: Humble Wildcats vs. King Panthers

For the second straight game, Humble will face off against King. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Humble Wildcats face off against King Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Humble hasn't scored more than two runs for four games straight, a trend the team is eager to reverse.

Humble had taken King down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Tuesday. The Wildcats took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers.

Humble saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ivan Talavera, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Ryan LaCour also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Humble's defeat dropped their record down to 7-15-1. As for King, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-15-1.
