Baseball Recap: West Hancock Comes Up Short

Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Wednesday. West Hancock took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of Eagle Grove. West Hancock was not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Eagle Grove earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

West Hancock's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Eagle Grove, they moved to 3-10 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

West Hancock wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 14-10 defeat against Garner-Hayfield/Ventura on the 20th. As for Eagle Grove, they have also already played their next contest, a 16-6 loss against St. Edmond on the 19th.
