Football Recap: Red Bank Comes Up Short at Home Against Rhea County

Red Bank unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Rhea County Golden Eagles by a score of 10-7 on Friday. The Lions haven't had much luck with the Golden Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Red Bank will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Tyner Academy at 7:00 p.m. on September 5. As for Rhea County, they will head out to square off against Notre Dame at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
