Baseball Recap: Carthage Comes Up Short

Carthage's last matchup with Spring Hill could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Friday. The Bulldogs lost 7-1 to the Panthers. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Bulldogs have suffered since February 21st.

This is the second loss in a row for Carthage and nudges their season record down to 8-11-1. As for Spring Hill, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 18-7.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Carthage is set to take on their familiar foe Pine Tree at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Spring Hill will square off against rival Kilgore at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
