On Saturday, Chester got the W thanks in part to Jenna Schlueter playing the best softball she has all season. Schlueter wasn't messing around, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. The pitching appearance was her fifth straight with two or fewer walks.

Looking ahead, Schlueter and Chester will be taking part in a tournament against Loyalton at 2:15 p.m. on Saturday. The Volcanoes got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Grizzlies thanks in part to Schlueter: she scored a run and stole a base while going 4-for-4.
