Academy of International Studies had won three straight games and Lisa Weinberg did her part to make it four on Monday. The Dragons blew past the CREC [Computer Science and Engineering/Academy] Eagles 3-0 with plenty of help from Weinberg, who had 14 aces. Weinberg is crushing it when it comes to aces: she's served at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

Academy of International Studies was especially dominant in the first set. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-16, 25-18.

Academy of International Studies' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Angie Zuluaga- Gonzalez, who had 17 digs.

Academy of International Studies was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 34 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 17 aces every time they've taken the court this season.

Academy of International Studies' win bumped their record up to 9-1. As for CREC [Computer Science and Engineering/Academy], their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coincidentally, Academy of International Studies and CREC [Computer Science and Engineering/Academy] will both be playing Capital Prep the next time they take the court. The Dragons will host the Trailblazers at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Eagles will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
