            Volleyball Recap: Pittsfield Saukees vs. Carbondale Terriers        
        
		
        
        
            After losing to Carbondale the last time they met, Pittsfield decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Saukees walked away with  a   2-0  victory over the Terriers  on Saturday.
 DaytLynn McCallister paced Pittsfield's offense, picking up eight kills. McCallister got some help from  Lincoln McCartney and her 21 assists.  Kenley Gerard and  Torie Stambaugh kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.
Pittsfield has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record  this season. As for Carbondale, their loss dropped their record down to 12-14.
 Pittsfield has already played their next matchup,  a  2-1  defeat against Centralia on the 11th. As for Carbondale, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  match,  a  2-1  loss against Highland on the 11th.
