Softball Recap: Christian Family Academy Takes a Loss

If Christian Family Academy was riding high fresh off their 13-0 takedown of Lake Lure Classical Academy last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Fire came up short against the Pinnacle Classical Academy Eagles on Tuesday, falling 11-5. The Fire haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Christian Family Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Pinnacle Classical Academy, their record is now 4-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Christian Family Academy will challenge rival Community Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Pinnacle Classical Academy is set to face off against their familiar foe Long Shoals Wesleyan Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
