Basketball Game Recap: Saint Stephen's Episcopal Falcons vs. Gulf Coast HEAT

The Saint Stephen's Episcopal Falcons were the 42-14 winner over Gulf Coast HEAT when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Saint Stephen's Episcopal took a serious blow against Gulf Coast HEAT on Wednesday, falling 43-12.

Despite the defeat, Saint Stephen's Episcopal saw an underclassman step up: Karlah Benzan scored 7 points.

Saint Stephen's Episcopal's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Gulf Coast HEAT, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Saint Stephen's Episcopal will take on Northside Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Gulf Coast HEAT, they will be playing at home against Southeast at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
