Volleyball Recap: Jackson Extends Winning Streak to Four

Jackson waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Demopolis Tigers. This was a revenge game for the Aggies: when they faced off against the Tigers back in September, they had to take a 3-2 loss.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Jackson got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 26-24, 11-25, 15-11.

Jackson's victory bumped their record up to 14-3. As for Demopolis, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season.

Coincidentally, Jackson and Demopolis will both be playing Selma the next time they take the court. The Tigers will host the Saints at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Aggies will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
