Volleyball Recap: Jackson's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Jackson hadn't done well against Demopolis recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Aggies had just enough and edged out the Tigers 2-1. The victory was familiar territory for the Aggies, who have now won four contests in a row.

Jackson was actually outscored in aggregate across those three sets (60-52), but they still managed to win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 11-25, 15-11.

Jackson's win bumped their record up to 14-3. As for Demopolis, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.

Coincidentally, Jackson and Demopolis will both be playing Selma the next time they take the court. The Tigers will host the Saints at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Aggies will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
