Canyon had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6 runs) and they went ahead and made it nine on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Borger Bulldogs by a score of 10-7. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 7-2 back in March.

Canyon's win bumped their record up to 21-6-1. As for Borger, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 11 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-16 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Canyon is set to face off against their familiar foe West Plains at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Eagles 3.2, the Wolves 3.2) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Borger will challenge rival Perryton at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
