Chatfield and D'Evelyn are an even 3-3 against one another since March of 2017, but likely not for long. Chatfield is taking a road trip to square off against D'Evelyn at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Chatfield will be strutting in after a victory while D'Evelyn will be coming in after a loss.

Chatfield will roll into the matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any goals two weeks ago, then bounced right back against Grandview on Thursday. Chatfield walked away with a 4-2 win over Grandview. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for Chatfield's offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Meanwhile, D'Evelyn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 4-2 to Dakota Ridge.

D'Evelyn now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Chatfield, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Chatfield was able to grind out a solid win over D'Evelyn in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, winning 4-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for Chatfield since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
