Soccer Recap: West Seneca West Comes Up Short

West Seneca West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hamburg Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, West Seneca West can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York soccer rankings (they are ranked 287th, while Hamburg are ranked 129th).

West Seneca West's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Hamburg, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Seneca West will face off against Kenmore West at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Hamburg, they will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Frontier at 7:00 p.m.
