Basketball Recap: Fairview's Win Ends Four-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Sardis typically has all the answers at home, but on Saturday Fairview proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Sardis Lions by a score of 57-49. This was payback for the Aggies, who suffered a 32-31 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Fairview's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-6. As for Sardis, their loss ended a nine-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-3.

Fairview will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Jasper at 6:00 p.m. on January 2, 2025. Sardis has already played their next game, a 68-45 victory against Jacksonville on the 21st.
