Waukesha West barely beat Catholic Memorial the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Wolverines put the hurt on the Crusaders with a sharp 10-2 win on Monday. Winning may never get old, but the Wolverines sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.

Tanner Hellman spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on three hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Bradyn Kundinger was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. That double marked the first that he has hit this season. Dylan Schreiber was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three runs.

Waukesha West was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .379. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Waukesha West pushed their record up to 10-7 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Catholic Memorial, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season.
