Volleyball Recap: Marshfield Falls Despite Big Games from Paige Schlagenhaft and Calyn Ziembo

Marshfield had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 2-0 to the Regis Ramblers on Tuesday. If the Tigers were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Ramblers when the teams met back in September of 2017, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Marshfield's loss came despite strong showings from Calyn Ziembo and Paige Schlagenhaft. Ziembo had nine digs and three aces, while Schlagenhaft had six assists and four digs.

Regis has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Marshfield wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Hudson on the 26th. As for Regis, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Chippewa Falls on the 26th.
