Volleyball Recap: Quitman Takes a Loss

Quitman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Como-Pickton Eagles. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2015.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-12.

Quitman's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Como-Pickton, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-4.

Como-Pickton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Leonard on the 21st. Hopefully Quitman paid attention to the Eagles' game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Eagles at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
