Volleyball Game Preview: Somerset Academy Losee Lions vs. Valley Vikings

Somerset Academy Losee hasn't had much luck against Valley recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Lions will challenge the Vikings at 6:00 p.m.

Somerset Academy Losee is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Nevada's top teams: Virgin Valley, who was ranked ninth at the time (Somerset Academy Losee was ranked 22nd). The Lions fell 3-1 to the Bulldogs on Monday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 24-26, 25-14, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Valley waltzed into their match on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Cougars 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-16, 25-11.

Somerset Academy Losee's defeat dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 14-7.

Somerset Academy Losee came up short against Valley when the teams last played back in March, falling 3-1. Can the Lions avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
