Volleyball Recap: Stevens Comes Up Short

Stevens's tournament run continued when they took on Sharyland on Saturday. The Falcons fell 2-0 to the Rattlers. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Stevens was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-22.

Their offense was headlined by Kamryan Johnson and Kaliyah Williams, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Gabrielle Ramon and her 15 assists.

Stevens' defeat dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Sharyland, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

Stevens didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Burbank on the 26th. As for Sharyland, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Nixon on the 23rd.
