Baseball Recap: Amesbury Comes Up Short

Amesbury suffered their biggest defeat since April 29th on Monday. They lost 15-5 to the Lynnfield Pioneers. The Redhawks haven't had much luck with the Pioneers recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Amesbury's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Lynnfield, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season.

Amesbury does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lynnfield, they will face off against Stoneham at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday.
