Bloomingdale extended their winning streak to four on Monday, bumping them up to 4-0. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Sickles Gryphons. For the Bulls, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 victory the Gryphons walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

Bloomingdale was led to victory by Ella Izett and Shelby Slein. Izett had 20 digs and two aces, while Slein had five digs and five aces. The dominant performance also gave Izett a new career-high in kills (two).

They weren't the only good server: Bloomingdale was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces in six consecutive matches dating back to last season.

As for Sickles, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2. Surprisingly, this marked their fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Despite the defeat, Sickles saw an underclassman step up: freshman Gabbi Colmenares-Salas had 25 digs and three assists. Those 25 digs set a new season-high mark for Colmenares-Salas.

Bloomingdale didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Riverview on the 10th. As for Sickles, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Plant on the 10th.
