Football Recap: Trinity Classical Academy Falls Despite Big Games from Hudson Sweitzer and Andrew Carlson

The Trinity Classical Academy Knights lost to the Calvary Chapel Eagles on the road by a 33-14 margin on Friday. The Knights were right on the edge of victory: they outscored the Eagles in the fourth quarter 8-0.

Trinity Classical Academy's loss came despite strong showings from Andrew Carlson and Hudson Sweitzer. Carlson rushed for 53 yards and one score, while Sweitzer rushed for 78 yards on only six carries.

Calvary Chapel found their leader in sophomore Colin Wiles, who threw for 229 yards and a pair of TDs, and also punched in one rushing score.

This is the second loss in a row for Trinity Classical Academy and nudges their season record down to 1-3. As for Calvary Chapel, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Trinity Classical Academy has already played their next contest, a 42-26 win against Webb on the 2nd. As for Calvary Chapel, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 42-14 victory against Santa Ana Valley on the 3rd.
