Helena entered their tilt with Calera on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They enjoyed a cozy 39-21 win over the Eagles. That 18 point margin sets a new team best for the Huskies this season.

When it comes to explaining why Calera lost, don't look at Jordan Ward. Despite the final result, he threw for 320 yards and three TDs, and also rushed for 50 yards. The Eagles' leading receiver Owen Richardson was Ward's top target yet again, picking up 103 receiving yards and one score.

Helena's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Calera, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-7.
