Basketball Game Recap: Athens Indians vs. Heritage Christian Academy Eagles

Sadly, the Athens Indians are still looking for their first win of the season after 18 matches. They took a hard 51-32 fall against Heritage Christian Academy on Friday.

Nick Clemens was Athens' leading scorer, having posted seven points. Clemens also led the team in rebounds with nine. Kale Kiefer took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with three assists.

Athens dropped their record down to 0-18 with that loss, which was their 21st straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Heritage Christian Academy, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

Athens will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Martin at 7:00 p.m. Athens is facing Martin at the right time seeing as Martin is stuck on a 16-game losing streak. As for Heritage Christian Academy, they will square off against Varsity Opponent at TBD on Monday.
