After a string of seven wins, Princeton's good fortune finally ran out  on Saturday. They fell just short of the Geneseo Maple Leafs by a score of  2-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the  2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in October of 2018.
 Princeton started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-21,  25-21.
 Caroline Keutzer paced Princeton's offense, picking up ten kills. Keutzer got some help from  Makayla Hecht and her 27 assists.  Ava Kyle controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
Princeton's loss dropped their record down to 19-14. As for Geneseo, they pushed their record up to 22-10 with the  victory, which was their fifth straight  at home.
 Looking ahead, Princeton will take on Kewanee at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Geneseo does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
