Softball Recap: Madison Christian Has No Trouble Against Wellington School

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Madison Christian). They put the hurt on the Wellington School Jaguars with a sharp 18-4 victory on Saturday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

The victory (which was Madison Christian's third in a row) raised their record to 3-2. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.3 runs over those games. As for Wellington School, their loss was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Madison Christian will challenge Westland at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wellington School, they will take on Millersport at 5:15 p.m. on the 7th.
