Baseball Game Preview: Tri-Valley Bears vs. Chester Hambletonians

Tri-Valley hasn't had much luck against Chester recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Bears will head out on the road to challenge the Hambletonians at 10:00 a.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Tri-Valley is leaving town to face Chester after disappointing their home crowd in their season opener. The Bears fell just short of O'Neill by a score of 5-4 last Friday.

Andrew Kelly made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double. Haiden Sanders was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

Meanwhile, Chester suffered their biggest defeat since May 1, 2024 on Wednesday. They came up short against Beacon, falling 11-1.

Tri-Valley might still be hurting after the 15-0 loss they got from Chester in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. Can the Bears avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
