After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Providence Catholic, Hanover Central was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 19-8 margin over the Mooresville Pioneers. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by six runs or more this season.

Ian Flores looked comfortable as he pitched 2.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit.

At the plate, Dylan Bowen was a standout: he went a perfect 5-for-5 with four runs, one double, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Geoffrey Resney, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with three runs, three RBI, and one triple.

Hanover Central always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .646. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Mooresville only posted an OBP of .414.

Hanover Central's record now sits at 7-2. As for Mooresville, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.

Hanover Central wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 5-1 win against Cathedral on the 19th. As for Mooresville, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 7-4 victory against Morgan Township on the 19th.
