Tahoma skates past Olympia with ease

Recap: Tahoma Bears vs. Olympia Bears

Make it six blowout wins for the Tahoma Bears this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat Olympia 71-43 at home. Winning may never get old, but Tahoma sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Tahoma's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Dalton Brown, who scored 21 points. Parker Plowman was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.

Tahoma has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. As for Olympia, their loss dropped their record down to 9-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tahoma won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Kentwood at 7:00 p.m. on January 16th. Kentwood is looking to tack on another W to their seven-game streak on the road. As for Olympia, they will be playing at home against Bellarmine Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bellarmine Prep will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Washington Rankings (they are ranked 210th, while Olympia is ranked 40th).
