Winning always takes teamwork, but on Wednesday Karen Mendez stepped things up a notch to give Streamwood the 'W'. Mendez turned in her biggest game of the season, picking up 205 receiving yards and a pair of scores, while also rushing for 46 yards and one touchdown. She really caught the secondary sleeping when she pulled down a catch that went for 97 yards.

Coming up, Mendez and Streamwood will be playing in front of their home fans against Glenbard North at 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
