Softball Game Preview: Westover Christian Academy Bulldogs vs. Ridgeview Christian Crusaders

The Westover Christian Academy Bulldogs will head out to take on the Ridgeview Christian Crusaders at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Westover Christian Academy has given up an average of 19.1 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Westover Christian Academy came up short against Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy on Monday, falling 15-2. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Westover Christian Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kylee Chromy, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and two RBI. Chromy is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games she's played.

Meanwhile, Ridgeview Christian had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost 15-5 to Temple Christian back in March. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

Westover Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Ridgeview Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
