Volleyball Game Preview: Lee's Summit West Titans vs. Oak Park Northmen

The Lee's Summit West Titans will venture away from home to take on the Oak Park Northmen at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Lee's Summit West is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Missouri's top teams: St. Michael the Archangel, who was ranked 19th at the time (Lee's Summit West was ranked sixth). Lee's Summit West took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of St. Michael the Archangel on Monday. The Titans haven't had much luck with the Guardians recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Lee's Summit West was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made St. Michael the Archangel work for it, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 27-25, 25-27, 25-23, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Oak Park also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Arvada West by a score of 2-0. The Northmen have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lee's Summit West's loss dropped their record down to 10-3-1. As for Oak Park, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-4.

Lee's Summit West was able to grind out a solid win over Oak Park when the teams last played last Saturday, winning 2-0. Will Lee's Summit West repeat their success, or does Oak Park has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
