If Deep Run wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Hermitage, they should've done a better job of containing Avery Curtis. The Panthers breezed past the Wildcats to the tune of 56-0 on Friday for which the team can thank Curtis, who rushed for 165 yards and two TDs on only 13 carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 57 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Hermitage didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Andre Clarke and Mj Jackson. Hermitage received some extra help from Markus Lee, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.

Hermitage's record is now 3-1. As for Deep Run, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Hermitage didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 34-13 victory against Godwin on the 3rd. As for Deep Run, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 13-6 loss against Glen Allen on the 3rd.
