Recap: Elmore County Panthers vs. Marbury Bulldogs
The Elmore County Panthers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their eighth straight loss. They fell 50-38 to Marbury. Elmore County has not had much luck with Marbury recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
DJ Graham continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Marbury, scoring 18 points along with six rebounds and four steals. Graham is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jacob Driver, who scored seven points along with 16 rebounds.
Elmore County's loss was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 1-13. As for Marbury, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-9.
Elmore County won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Holtville at 7:00 p.m. on January 19th. As for Marbury, they will head out on the road to take on Chilton County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
