Volleyball Recap: Carolina Forest Falls Short Against Ranked Dorman

Carolina Forest faced Dorman in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Panthers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cavaliers. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Cavaliers recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Carolina Forest was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-15.

Carolina Forest's loss dropped their record down to 22-5-1. As for Dorman, their win bumped their record up to 22-0.

Looking ahead, Carolina Forest will welcome Myrtle Beach at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Dorman, they will take on Wade Hampton at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
