Football Game Preview: Kaplan Pirates vs. Patterson Lumberjacks

The Kaplan Pirates will challenge the Patterson Lumberjacks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Kaplan is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Loreauville just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Friday. They and the Tigers were almost perfectly matched up, but they suffered a 21-20 defeat.

Meanwhile, Patterson is still winless after their game against Franklin on Friday, but the team can take solace in the fact it was the closest they've come to winning. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 36-34 heartbreaker at the hands of the Hornets. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Lumberjacks have suffered since August 30, 2024.

Kaplan's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Patterson, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.
