Volleyball Recap: Timpview Comes Up Short

Timpview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They came up short against the Wasatch Wasps, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wasps this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

While Timpview was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-23, 25-19.

Wasatch can attribute much of their success to Nathan Burton, who had three digs and two aces.

Timpview's loss dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Wasatch, their win bumped their record up to 15-6.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Timpview will face off against rival Cedar Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Wasatch is set to take on their familiar foe Salem Hills at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
