With a playoff game on the line, Marion rose to the challenge on Thursday. They breezed by the Jourdanton Indians/Squaws to the tune of 46-14. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by 32 points or more this season.

Marion was led to victory by Christian Sanchez and Kade Pape. Sanchez rushed for 250 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.4 yards per carry, while Pape rushed for 53 yards and two touchdowns. Those 250 rushing yards gave Sanchez a new career-high.

Marion was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 377 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Marion wouldn't let Jourdanton keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. Marion can thank Caden Hernandez and Weston Teboe for forcing both of them.
