Mt. Pleasant entered their tilt with East Hickman County on Saturday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They came out on top against the East Hickman County Eagles by a score of 58-49. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 58-39 two weeks ago.

Mt. Pleasant's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ryan Benderman led the charge by going 6 of 12 on his way to 20 points and seven steals. Micah Dale was another key player, putting up 13 points and five steals.

Mt. Pleasant's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-2. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.3 points per game. As for East Hickman County, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season.

After both having extra time off, Mt. Pleasant and Community will shake off the cobwebs and take on one another at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. East Hickman County and Grace Christian Academy will round out the year against one another at at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
