Central Lee has been struggling as of late, and they have yet to win a game this season. They fell just short of the Danville Bears by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. Central Lee were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Danville apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Central Lee's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2-3. As for Danville, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Central Lee didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against West Burlington on the 3rd. As for Danville, they will challenge Fort Madison at 5:00 p.m. on the 11th.
