Soccer Recap: Conroe Gets the Win

After losing to Willis the last time they met, Conroe decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Conroe Tigers narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Willis Wildkats 2-1.

The win got Conroe back to even at 5-5-1. As for Willis, they dropped their record down to 7-5-1 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Conroe face off against the Caney Creek at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Willis, they will square off against Oak Ridge at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Oak Ridge's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Willis' offense will have their work cut out for them.
